Welcome to the vortex.  This group is pretty fun.  Some talent from time to time.  Pretty quick with an answer to most questions.  I'm sure we will make you laugh from time to time.  If you watch your manners, you might find out about the brownies.  By the way, where is Otiscco, IN?  I lived in Louisville for quite some time and even delivered chemical in S. IN, but don't remember coming across Otiscco.  Anyway, If your a friend of Phil's, I'm sure we'll meet in person pretty soon.  Have fun reading and looking over the site, but don't forget to turn.   8)

Rev
Otisco's about 10 minutes up the road from me on Highway 3 out Charlestown.  I met Hillbillyred at the Sellersberg celebrates festival Sunday.  You should see some of his work and when you see it it will blow your mind when you hear what it was done on.  I'll let him explain.  Anyway, Jeanne met him on Saturday and told me that I had to go back with her on Sunday to meet him.  I think we spent about 2 hours talking turing and some other stuff.  Oh, by the way, his dad sells portable saw mills (the bandsaw type, can't remember the brand) which is really what they were out there doing.  pretty cool really.

Doug,
I'm seriously going to injure you the next time I see you.  Don't forget that in addition to all my other fine qualities, I'm also a black belt!  Better run while you've got the chance!

And Red,
Welcome to the site.  I'm only an occasional visitor, but DH (means Darling Husband when I'm in a good mood, could mean many other things too Smiley)managed to keep me apprised of what's going on, since he lives here when he's not sleeping or turning.
I'm very glad you were able to make it here and look forward to seeing your place in the future.  My daughters love their little mushrooms and now DH is making plans to try to make some more.  As if he didn't have enough stuff to do.

Catch you all later.

Jeanne

Hey Red,

Welcome to WR.  Sounds like you've already made some good friends in Phil and Jeanne and probably soon the rest of the group.  I hope you enjoy the site.

Welcome, Red. Glad to have you aboard. Dive in, look around, add whatever you can. Pretty easy-going group here, you'll see.

I look forward to hearing about your mystery lathe set-up that Phillip alluded to. Apparently it works pretty well.

Jeanne, I said nothing about you.  Only refered to my addiction to chocolate/brownies/etc.  Besides, I've got a offer for you and DH Phil, not to mention the other greater Louisville folks.   8)

Sorry Doug,

Just I remember being teased unmercifully about the brownies, and then I sent one to bud in my challenge bowl because he was so obsessed with them, Phil thought it would be funny.  I thought you were digging at me because I introduced Hillbillyred to Phil. . . . .

Anyway, didn't mean anything by it, was just kidding back at you.   Phil's talking about paying you a visit on thursday or something, something about some more wood ? ? ?  He's posessed, I swear!

Hope to see you sometime soon Doug.
