Jim, I do not have a political label, but in most dealings I am somewhat conservative in my decisions. If I had to pick a label it would probably be "independent". I have very little use for the media/press (except for the Weather Channel), and most politicians. AND, as much fun as it is to visit New Orleans, it should not be reborn in its depression. Grin

Was out a while ago and noticed that gas has come down another $.10.  Things are beginning to look up.  Still don't understand how the LA state government got caught with their pants so far down though.   8)

It is my understanding that in the 80's money was put out for rebolstering the levee system and that it was thought that it was good enough, and the money redirected. That could just be urban rumor, but if true, gives a good idea of the mindset...It won't ever happen. Unfortunately it does, and often at a terrible cost.

My regular station, here in Phoenix, dropped $.10 back to $3.10 since yesterday, but the Circle K across the street is still at $3.20.

In Donalsonville GA and Bainbridge GA, reg gas is $3.13/gal. Just filled the Sub with diesel this morning (Donalsonville GA) and paid $2.90/gal. Then went past a station selling diesel for $2.82/gal.
