Hey Roo,  I was wondering what had happened to you.  I figured school or vacation had gotten you busy.  Welcome back!

Reminds me of the sewing machine treadle powered lathe my Grandfather used back in the 30's.  At least he had an electric bulb hanging in the basement.

It's a welcome thing to have the Scottish lad on line again. It's also a welcome thing to have Bill on line again. We haven't heard from him in awhile. How're you doin', Bill? Everything under control?

HiYall,
Bud, I am on a new regime of meds and some make me feel pretty goofy IYKWIM so in a way I am glad the lathe has gone, I still go into the shed and look at the empty space and the lump comes into the throat, but hey ho and on we go.

Whats happening over there in New Orleans?? Its on the news all the time here and it looks pretty harrowing, I dont know if you are getting the same images we are, but dubblya is getting most of the blame for it, dont see how myself as it is a natural thing, I hope that none of use on these boards has had any losses from it, and those that have been affected recieve gods blessings.
