I am a Floor Covering Installer, and today, i was installing Laminate flooring. (a manufactured laminated faux wood floor)

In order to install Laminate prolerly, you must "undercut" all of the door jambs, so the flooring slides under the jamb to hide the cut edge.

for the first time in my life, just a few days before i go get my lathe,,, ALL of the jambs in this house were 1 1/2" CEDAR boards!!!

OH MAN I LOVED IT. i hand sawed every jamb!!! my arms were never happier to work that little saw!!! I am ready Yoda.... The force is with me!!!
