Ed Davidson has quite a reputation in the pen turning world.  His work with non-wood material is always interesting and very well done.  If you've never been to penturners.org, go look at his gallery there.

Ed (yoyospin) makes some beautiful pens from acrylic that he casts. I needed some plain black plastic blanks not long ago, no one makes just plain black with no white or silver glitter, and Ed cast some for me. He has some of the nicest plastic pen blanks you have ever seen.

wow, thats even more impressive. i thought he was makin those blanks, i just wasn't surei may have to get ahold of him, and see if he will custom make me some stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
