Had breakfast with Jimmy and Philip
Dec 10th, 2005 at 5:09pm

We all meet up at 9 am this morning and had a good breakfast and a better talk.  Jimmy and Philip got to go to the wood show while I went to work.  After the show Philip and I had supper before he had to drive back to Oklahoma.

Jimmy I have some wood in my car that Philip left for you.  Just let me know when we can meet.  I will be back at work tomorrow if you want to come by and pick it up just give me a call.

Hey TC and Jimmy
Just a quick note to tell you both how good it was to meet you and and in ther case of TC to see you again.  Like TC says Jimmy, you got wood in the back of TC's car, you left before I could remember to give it to you.
Also wanted to let you know I made it back safe and sound at around 9:30 PM.  I am going to bed, it has been a long day.
Junior, sorry you missed it, you would have enjoyed it tremendously.

Picked up the wood Philip brought... Wow Shocked   This is going to keep me busy for a while.  Our club has an empty bowl project where we turn bowls, then donate them to the Dallas Food Bank to raise money.  This will be a good start. Guess I better get my bevel rubbing...

JimQ...  I know I'm going to have some Trend question Cheesy   Get ready!!

Install charged battery in Trend, put Trend on head and adjust fit, push start button, breathe in, breathe out (be sure to repeat the breathing part). Any questions? Grin

Philip he almost didn't get it in his vehicle because he went back to the wood show and got a Jet dust collector.  He was putting wood everywhere.  He will have enough to last a few days anyway.

Ahhh...  TC telling on me  (he...he).

I ended up with the big one. 1100cfm with the canister.  I feel like I put a Mercury 225 on the back of a canoe!!!, but my garage floor is clean now.  I hooked up the 4” hose and was cleaning the table my drill press was on, it started sucking up my drill bits.   Now to rewire garage,. (Ho, the pain we put our self’s through).

I’m still having a little trouble closing the mask on the Trend.  After inserting the battery, then closing the face mask I keep hitting the on button while trying to lock the mask into the two tabs in the back.  Seems like it’s kind of a trick to get that to close correctly and lining up the hole for the on/off button.

What wood are we talking about here?  I happen to know some of what Phil has stashed away.  Just wondering if he dipped into the good pile or not.   8)

Jimmyc,
I have the same closing glitch as you described, and sometimes it just slips shut with no hang-up. I think that part of the battery gets in the way [if it is not snuggled into its slot far enough], but it could be something else. Also, you may need to loosen the side knobs a bit more so it slides closed easier.

Doug
All my stash is good stuff, you know that Wink.  I gave them some walnut and beech and of course some maple.  In addition I finally got to deliver the bradford pear that Gil gave top me last March that I was supposed to give to TC last summer but TC was in VA when I was here.  all in all they got a good sized load.
