Stronghold Chuck Adapter
Apr 5th, 2006 at 8:05pm

Is there anyone here that started out or is still turning on a ShopSmith?
I am looking for someone that might have a 5/8" Plain Bore Adapter to fit a Stronghold Chuck.  At a better price than I can get a new one of course.

I found a fabulous deal on a NEW Stronghold chuck, (@ Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register ),  but it comes without the adapter and the company does not carry the one I need.  Sooooo.....I need to get me one.

Thanks,
Terry

Terry, you might try Woodcraft, Craft Supply USA, Penn State Industries, etc.  Most any company that is a retail outlet for OneWay stuff should have an adaptor for you.  At the same time, you might try the ShopSmith website.  If you haven't looked there, you'll be surprised how good it is.   8)

Thanks RevDoug...

Actually I've already looked all over the web including th ShopSmith site.  I'm just trying to locate a USED adapter.
I received a PM from someone on a site but can't remember which site OR who it was, (Dummy me deleted the PM!)  Cry
