WR logo Collector's Lapel Pins...
Jul 31st, 2006 at 9:57pm

Hey gang, to be sure I can handle deliveries in a timely fashion, I have set up the pages for ordering the WR lapel pins for pre-sale orders.  I'm expecting to receive the pins on August 15th and should start shipping the week of August 22nd.

Here's the link: Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register

Credit Cards and Paypal available and I have also made a printable (Word format) form for mailing in orders with checks or money orders.

For folks outside the Continental U.S., drop me an email and we can do a special Paypal request to work around any additional shipping costs.  email: Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register

Hooligan,

You might have a bad cookie/temp file.  Try clearing the cache in your browser (assuming it is IE) and go to Tools>Internet Options>Delete Cookies, then do the same for Delete Files.

This should be done peridocally for everyone's computer, it will help the browser run smoother and faster.  Since I am a 'net junkie I do this about once a week.  The only drawback is you'll have to enter your passwords into the sites you visit the next time you go (unless you don't let the websites "remember you", then it's a non-issue.)

If that doesn't work, let me know via PM or email what your order and shipping info is and I can send a Paypal request to you directly.

Okay, I'm back on-line now.  Dang new computer/OS would not/does not keep cookies straight.  XP Pro/Earthlink/IE/Zone Alarm won't push cookie info out, so I'd sign on and the next page would say 'Welcome Guest'.  I couldn't even post to complain about it.  Firefox to the rescue.
Anyway, I'm in for 2.  Glad to be able to talk again.

Glad you got it BAM, I actually emailed everyone when I sent out the batch and for some reason your email kept bouncing back.  I was away for the weekend and was going to try again tonight if I hadn't heard from you.  Anyone else get theirs yet?  I know Glenn emailed saying he got his and really liked them.

Mine came in this morning's mail.  Yahoo!.  I'll use one as a tie tack (yuk!  I hate having to wear them on Sunday mornings).  An inlaid something maybe.  Guess I've got to get a WR hat now too.

Thanks Chris.  These are great.   8)

Chris.  Came in the mail today.  LA to Phoenix, 6 days.  They must have been sent by stage coach.  The Pony Express used to make the run in 3-4 days.  They are gorgeous!  Thanks.  Just wish I had had them for last Saturday's Turning club meeting.

Jim
All I can say is that the problem could have been is that it got lost in a building somewhere during processing.  I am sorry to say it happens that packages and letters do get lost inside machines at times or fall off and land under them only to be found during regularly scheduled mail searches.  I personally have found letters and packages that were dated months ago in area of a machine that I would not have expected to find anything.  I'll bet if you had another one sent today you would get it either tomorrow or the next day.

Thanks Rick, they will be in the mail in the next day or so as will the others that just placed an order.

In case anyone is wondering about these, the WR lapel pins are an ongoing fundraiser for WR's incidental costs (like webspace, adding new areas, etc).  They are very nice pins, 24k gold raised outlines on an embossed gloss background.  They come with military style clasps and work on clothes, bags, etc (I have them everywhere!).

And if you grind the pin off, then they make really sweet lucky tokens....... ORRRRRRR (i wasnt gonna share this idea, but you guys are worthy!!)

you can grind the pin off the back, and then they make sweet little inlays for bottle stoppers, etc. etc.
