Wheels what brand of buffing set did you get?
are you going to buff on the lathe or have a dedicated motor?
If a motor is it a 1725rpm or a 3650 rpm?

ask more specific questions so we can help you better.

The quick change is what I have and I think I want the extension.  But even without the extension, I'm so glad not to have gotten the 3 on a shaft.  Thanks to Phil who steered me away from that mistake.

Rev,
I bought the extension one that someone hear told me about. I haven't put it on the motor yet but It looks like a winner to me. I have to mount it on a motor dedicated to buffing. Smiley

That's right Chuck.  I'm using the motor that came out of an air handler we replaced at church.  Everything about it was perfect except the rotation direction.  Rewired according to the specs and perfection was achieved.  Built a stand, mounted my motor and now I have a buffing machine.  Yea!
