WR Supporting Members Appreciation Awards
Jan 4th, 2008 at 3:22pm

Hey Gang,

I meant to have this posted on Jan 1, but I've been sick with the flu for the last 6 days.  So, I'll post the intro today with the prizes and then tomorrow I'll announce the prize winners.  No one needs to do anything, those folks that have signed up as WR Supporting Members during 2007 are automatically included as well as those folks that are supporters by their contributions as volunteering editors, etc.

We have a few great prizes to show our thanks for your support in 2007:

Grand Prize: a copy of Reed's (robo_hippy) new DVD on using the McNaughton Coring system donated by Reed.

Second Prize: The tools, book and video of David Springett's Woodturning Wizardry donated by Chris Wright

Third Prize: a beautiful piece of figured Brazilian Rosewood measuring approx. 5 x 5 x 5.

Fourth Prize: any item of the winner's choice from the WR logo shop

Fifth Prize: a 2008 WR Calendar

Award Winner's will be announced tomorrow!  (Did ya think I wouldn't throw at least a bit of suspense in?)

Thanks Chris.  It is appreciated.  You know guys, this means I will have to empty the garage and buy a bigger lathe.  Hmmmm,  I wonder what I can get for a big table saw with a Beismeier fence?
