Jan 15^th, 2008 at 12:58pm My 13 year old cat just discovered the convenience of using wood shavings as a litter box. This way, she doesn't need to go outside in the cold or rain. Dang, now I'm going to have to sweep up more often. R

This winter my cat has started doing the same thing as I discovered when I stepped in a pile of shavings. More cleanup and more training are the order of the day. Fortunately the shavings seem to absorb the odor. I couldn' smell any of the typical litter box odor at all.

P.S. My wife has remarked in the past that the cats fur would make a great fur-lined bra. If the training doesn't take we may find out how it works.

I find rosewood, tulip and cedar are the best
