How do you sand?

I use just to MUCH sandpaper.

Would like a nice long response from one of the expert sanders here.

All one has to do is do a search on Sanding
and there is tons of info.

Charlie, just remember to use sandpaper like someone else is paying for it.  Don't over use it, as it fills with sawdust, you end up creating too much heat and not taking much off.
