Has anyone ever tried useing varnish (thined) as a friction polish ? I was going to try to 50/50 varnish/terpintine. Will this work ?

Thanks

Yes, its okay, nothing special.

I would crank up the speed and burnish until I saw smoke then I would stop. It still needs to dry afterwards. I only did this on small spindles such as pens and peppermills
