Ron,
I went to the Beal site & tried what you said but I couldn't get it to work?

This is my post I tried to do what you said. It's the first one the link to the beal site with the MT2 tapers.

CoolChuck Beland

Doug,
I plan on using this. Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register I will have the MT part inside of the tailstock & the other end inside of the steel like this. You can use a draw bar to secure it to the tailstock since it's threaded for a 1/4 x 20 TPI. There is also a flat spot that goes inside of the steel just drill a hole for a set screw & it will not rotate.

Click pic for full size.

off the lathe with the ends exposed with the drawbar.

This is the one I figured I would need since I wanted the pic to link to the Beal site. I tried it different ways but no good.

The first link is the big image, the second link is the small image that will be shown on the board

The two links that you have are two different small images

Code:
[url=http://simplyturning.com/gallery/albums/Boxes/Bubinga_Box_w_inlay_a.sized.jpg][img]http://simplyturning.com/gallery/albums/Boxes/Bubinga_Box_w_inlay_a.thumb.jpg[/img][/url]

If you look closely you'll see I forgot one small bit of code  [img]
Makes all the difference

Ron,
I copied & pasted your link to myself so I can see the pic & also added a extra space in 2 places so I can see the whole line of code

thanks

In regards to your last statement.

" If you look closely you'll see I forgot one small bit of code   [img]
Makes all the difference"

I don't see where you forgot the [img] when it comes to stuff like this on a comp I'm really comp stupid.

Thanks for the help.

OK I got it Doug.

I tried to go to the site again & when I try to just highlight just the pic it always gets part of the words I think it's maybe the way the web site is set up.

don't "select" the pic, just put the cursor (pointer, hand, mouse...) over the pic and right click and select copy image.
