You need a few things to create a website
Software to create the pages
Software to up load the files
A host for your domain.

This program is by far the simplest to use to program a website. It will take you longer to decide what photos you want to use then it will take to create the site.

For those of us that use Macintosh systems, the iLife package that comes with all Macs for the past several years, has iWeb included.
It is all you will need and is very easy to use. My site has been up for about a year but is very out of date.
I am now studying a package called Dreamweaver which is more of a pro package so I can set up an online store eventually.

You can use WebAlbum all by itself and that would be fine.
Later if you want to add some code to a single page you would use NVU.

I use NVU for the Featured Member Page.

You need to or It's very easy to use and best of all it is free! The URL includes the weebly name, but there isn't tons of banners or pop ups all over.

The problem with that is that you don't own the web site or its content unless you have copyrighted the material. Weebly is considered to be yhe publisher it since you are using their domain. That also makes it harder to draw traffic if you are trying to sell. It isn't bad if you are only using it to show pictures to your family.
