A HUGE thanks to everyone who has supported WR so far.  I'm sure some more of you will shortly.  You should have noticed several changes already.  More changes are on the way.  Unfortunately, they don't give web space away.  Nor do they give domain names (like Woodturners Resource) away.  It has been a year and a half since our last fund raiser and you folks came through like the family that you are and supported the efforts that Chris and I were making.  Now Ron is the big dog (I'm so grateful it's not me).  I am still here doing the things I do best.  If we can all give a little WR can continue to be the supreme site it has grown to be.  If we don't, WR can fade into the sunset.  I believe that we've met expenses already, but any further support will go a long way toward helping us move further into the future and making WR the best site on the internet.  Again, thank you for supporting Woodturners Resource.

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that the 2 blanks from Choice Woods are in my possession as I type this post.  I was about to leave when I asked about them.  Clay said just pick out what ever you want.  I started looking about to see what all was available and was looking at blanks in the $30-$35 range.  I thought I better make sure I wasn't abusing his generosity so I asked what he had in mind.  He says, "It doesn't matter.  Grab a couple of $50 pieces."  These ambrosia pieces are pretty nice.  Who ever wins either one will not be disappointed.

If you haven't made your supporting contribution yet, you'll want to soon.  Time is running out and you don't want to be left out of this great drawing.  We've had some nice things to give away before, but this list is beyond belief.  And the only way to be a part of the drawing is to be a supporting member.  You really don't want to miss this opportunity.  Just another benefit of being a supporting member, regardless the level you decide to help at.  You are all appreciated.

------

Let me tell you what I have planned.

WR is growing fast. Since the summer we have had over 25% increase in traffic. The server we are using now is just about maxed out. So once again we need to move to a bigger home. The new server will have over three times the harddrive space along with increased bandwidth.

The new server will also have capabilities for streaming video. I haven’t figured out how to develop area this so I’m open to opinions.

I also plan on updating our forum software. This upgrade has new security features along with some really nice user features that all of us should appreciate.

--- How I picked the winners ----

I entered the names and shuffled three times then I did the same with the prizes. Then matched the top 10 supporters to the10 prizes
