Any advise on contacting galleries to sell turned items?  How do you approach them?  Does anyone know of any in the midwest that do specialize in turned wood?

not to sound flippant, but the best way to contact a gallery is to go in and say Hi.  check your phone book yellow pages under galleries, or in community information for locations.  bring a piece along with you to show.  the best way to do it is just do it.  after the first contact, the rest get easier.
