Mine's on it's way to USA this morning.  It might take some time because the mail man has to walk to the west coast of Ireland, paddle a currach to America and then walk to CA - the exercise will do him good and it was the cheapest option.

You are going to love this...

The July 'Woodturning' magazine edition has just arrived and, on the front page, one of the feature articles is...

"10 End grain boxes for you to make"

Grin Can we do it again please?

Mike,
That's usually after about 30 days. They send a notice 3 times.

I got two boxes in the mail today.  One was about a cube and weighed nearly nothing.  Mike did a great job on his box.  The fit of the lid was perfect.  You did a great job, Mike.  It will look great along with the other pieces in my rogue's gallery.  The only issue I have with it is that you didn't sign it anywhere.  Dude, when I get that dreaded loss of memory disease, how am I supposed to remember who spun this piece round?  Thanks.  BTW, yours will be in the mail soon.

The second was a much flatter box.  Turns out that my wife sent our dork of a nephew a graduation gift.  He moved and didn't leave a forwarding address.  I think we ought to send him an email saying that he missed out on a $50,000 opportunity, but because he didn't leave a forwarding address the offer has expired.  Might teach him a little responsibility, at least to take care of some of the details when he makes a move.  I've given him a new name.  Owa Tador Kiam

Doug,
Tell your nephew that once the carrier finds out he moves they hold the mail for 10 days then they do paperwork that he went MLNA (moved left no forwarding address) then all of his bills, checks everything goes back to the sender. His credit rating will take a major hit cause he will not be getting his bills they will automatically will send it to a either their lawyer to find where he lives or to a company that goes after their delinquent accounts. This will cause him a lot of headaches.
