Thanks Chuck, tomorrow my intention is to clear the top shelf and workbench.  Then I'll get some turning done.  I need space to set up a pen production line because I want to have a case full so that my mates can have a pen each but from a wide choice in order that one doesn't end up with the pen nobody else wanted.

Brendan,
Love the video.  I think you can always learn a trick or two from seeing someone else's sandbox!
And I have learned more about Wasp traps today than I have in my entire life!!!
And your box is truly stunning from the C&T.  In fact I am looking at it I type!  Absolutely a treasure of mine!

LOL, thanks Jeff.  You are a lot kinder about the wasp traps than a mate I had over a couple of nights ago.  He asked what the milk containers were for so I told him the wasp trap theory.  He thought for a moment and then said "You need to go out and get a ******* job". Grin

Brendan  -- nice video, I can hardly believe that's the same shop! Wink     You should finish that box and sell it as a second, it is still a very nicely turned piece and sitting on a mantle who would know the tenon wasn't perfect??  smiley=thumbsup.gif

Jim that's a nice shop, looks like you have all the essentials covered. It would be nice having a bay door to work "outside" in nice weather. I have never been to Idaho but I think it would be a trifle warmer than here in Canada?

Thanks Don,

There has been an upgrade today.  I was in the shower last night and, as I pulled the curtain, I thought "this would be handy to pull across and keep the chips off my shelves and desk".  So, a bit of sweet talk (well, grovelling, you married guys know the score) and it was mine.  Mind you, after the hoops I had to jump through to get it I was a bit taken aback when I heard my dear wife say 'when you have that down put this one up please' and handed me a brand new curtain she had bought last week to have for the time a change was due.

Brendan, I love it! After 25 years of marriage I have seen that phenomenon a few times myself. They let you grovel over something only to find they had every intention of doing it anyway!
Cheers mate! smiley=beer.gif

Well, my shop may be small, but it is under-equipped  Grin.  I have to share the space with my dive gear storage and maintenance, lifting platform, washer and dryer.  Everything is on wheels and will fit under the work benches.  The rolling storage will also work as out-feeds for my tiny little table saw.  Still working on it.
