I use the cheapest (and toughest) solution for removing chips - I brush myself down with the head of a yard brush.  Us Irish boys are as hard as nails.

Bre,
You guys are a wuss we use the steel ones like used to take off scale after welding.  Tongue

Under Armour tee shirts are the best thing I found for turning.  The chips does not stick to it and the collar is tight enough to stop chips from falling down my neck.

Where do you get these, never heard of em Smiley

These are the shirts that most baseball, football and soccer players were under their uniforms. They wicke moisture away from the body which cools you in the summer and warms in the winter.

You can get them at most any sporting goods outlet.  Dick's, Sport Authority and Hibbett's would have them.  Maybe even Walmart.

I use compressed air to blow the dust and chips off my clothes, hair and skin. You should be careful, though, about where you aim the air nozzle. Watch the ears and eyes in particular. A blast of air can damage an eardrum or blow chips or dust into your eyes.

Also tell her that the cuffs should be tight fitting so they do not catch in moving machinery.

What Jim said is Very true and you can get the Armour tee shirts at Walmart in the sporting good, hunting dept. or if you know someone in the Guards, they use them now as well, they might be able to pick up a couple from supply.

This ain't rocket surgery. You wear the smock inside out.  Grin

And Chuck, this is what happens if you use compressed air to clean out the cobwebs:
