Ok, so I knew for a while I had a show coming up... but hey a 1 1/2 months plenty of time to stock up.... Then my mother shows up, I haven't seen her for 5 years. My several hours a day turning, ends up being like 4-5 hours a week for the 3 weeks she was here... But, that is ok.. still have 3 weeks to get ready.... Truck breaks down, two tows and a bunch of messing around with it.. I have been barely keeping up with on line sales, but I am now gaining on show inventory. 1 week until show have about $2500 in inventory, which is light but still have a week... Am now turning 10-14 hours a day, feeling good.. 30+ pieces sell on line... End result..... had to go to a show with only about $1200 in inventory..... which honestly is about 1/4 of what I feel is a comfortable min.
But, there is happy endings.. sold a little over $600

Now for a bit of a gloat.... While there another show approached us and asked us to attend... here is the gloat.. the other show is sold out and is out side, they offered to have a tent available to us and wave the $80 set up fee if we will attend.. This is a full juried show!!!
Also a major fiber retailer aproached us wanting to carry our spindles

BTW Jim, raised my prices back up some higher then before lowering them last spring...
