i would like to say hi to everyone on this site. my name is jim jones, i live in indiana, and i just started turning on my lathe about 3 months ago.
  and i have to say i have learned more in the last 3 days, from this site, than i did in 3 months without being a member. the members on here has alot to teach the new guys (like me), and i just wanted to say thank you. and cant wait to get to know all of you, jim

hey thanks for making me feel at home, i tryed to post a pic, of the first bowl that i turned, but it is to large. when my son comes by, i will have him show me how to make the picture smaller. and by the way jim, i have not used kool_aid for a few years, but i can make a batch. Smiley

Jim, here is a good resizing program that is free.  Simple to use and works great.  Many of us use it.

i'M TIRED OF BAKING ALL THE COOKIES so the cookie monsters here (Leo, Ken, Wizzy, etc...) don't eat them all. before the new guys get some.
