It's SHOWTIME

I haven't been around too much lately... Trying to get ready for my big show this weekend. Lots of inventory made including 80+ pens, 35 bottle stoppers, 12 bowls, 10 crosses, 15 peppermills, 8 vases, keychains, bracelet buddies, and a few more etc. pieces. I think I have enough inventory to last the rest of this year and part of next year.
Ahhhh, production turning. You gotta love it. I've been on vacation since 11/5... time to go back to the real job to get some rest. Wink

I'll post an update Sunday. Until then, y'all behave.

Well, show #1 is over. Only did about half aas good as I normally do, but did have a large number of return customers. That's always a good thing, especially when they all say they are not having problems with the products they purchased. This show is really going downhill because they're starting to allow resale merchandise.
For example; a guy 2 booths down from me had these great looking wooden models carved from solid Mahogany and was selling them for $45. I'm talking about F-15's, Chinooks(sp?), the Space Shuttle with all the boosters, and they were very detailed. Made small talk about them and he said he usually brings 3 of each at every show. "Man, you must have nothing but time on your hands. How long do they take to make?" His reply, "I wouldn't know. I get them from a distributer in Oklahoma." As for the other booths, for a while I thought I was in hair bow depot.

There's very few true artists still involved with this show. Do I stay or do I go?

Did ya make enough to cover "all" of your expense's and bank some to boot... your return customers was a plus and I'm sure they were just as glad to see you as you were glad to see them and was it worth your time... if the answer to all of these were yes, then I say keep doing it.
