Let me be the first to break in this new forum.

I live in Hardinsburg, KY with my wife and young son.  We are about 1/2 way between Louisville and Owensboro along US 60.  Yes, I am the pastor of the county seat Baptist Church here.  I have a really bad habit of making wood round in various forms.  If you would like some instruction or just want to chat about turning, I'm usually more than willing to spend some time in the shop.

Turning interests include:
Yep, anything round.  I don't, however, do several things.  Some of those include segmented, carved, greatly embellished.  I prefer most of my work to be straight off the lathe and finished.  Still love to see the work of others who do so much of the other stuff to their turnings though.  Helps to keep my interest up.

If you find yourself traveling across KY or southern IN, be sure to contact me.  Maybe we can get together for a cup of coffee or maybe even a bite to eat.  Got some time, let's turn something just to say we did it together.
