Just a word of encouragement for all you folk who are entering and can get your kits without problems.  Don't over think these things.  They really are simple.  The difficulty comes in creating a beautiful design and finish.  Plan a practice call or two to get your design the way you want it.  Finish you'll just have to figure out.  Way too many opinions on that one.

I just turned a prototype and it even works. I didn't have the right bushings so I turned between centers. Simple

Thanks again Dave for the call and directions you sent. BTW, you did I nice job with that zebrawood call.

Now I can turn the real thing. Count me in.

I 'm glad you tried one and didn't have any problems they can become addicting! I use some rubber hose with a 1/4" I.D. and a 1/2" O.D. To turn the stopper on my Duck calls and all my Predator, Coon Squallers, and wood Duck calls too. And you can get the rubber hose with 3/4 O.D. too. The Rubber hose saves some money. I wish I would have thought about it when I sent your stuff. bang head

Hopefully I'll be able to get some shop time and I can play too. Dave sent me a call kit in the wood trade, so I'm all set.

Turning sounds like a lot more fun then packing.

There is
1
week left.  Who has their call done?  If not, will you be ready by next week?

Everyone who posts photos in the C&T Gallery next weekend will be paired for the trade.  I will post the pairings here, and you will have to PM your mailing address to your partner, not me.

Only a couple of days left, so you better hurry up and finish.

Ron opened a gallery "Summertime 2010 C&T Game Calls."  Post your pictures here by Sunday night if you want to be paired with a trading partner.

Do you guys mind if I post a few pics of my calls for this
C & T?  I only have 2 left, one cocabolo duck call and one cedar deer call (which was my very first turning).

Pick one to trade if you want to post in the C&T.
