Awesome! Ok, I've been cleaning my shop out for weeks, and after a final tidying up, and vacuuming, I think I'm ready to add my pics to this thread.

Click to enlarge. First one is 150kb, the rest are all 500-600Kb.

So, here it is. This is a shot of the main area I work in. It's nice by the two big windows, (the one you can see, and one directly in front of the bench on the right), as there is an abundance of natural light in the daytime. Behind me, and to the left, is shelving and clutter, so this is the majority of the space I'm allotted.

A shot of my lathe bench. Hepa filter on the shelf directly behind the lathe helps a ton. The clean air is ported to blow over the motor. The box around the motor, and the entire mounting/tightening system was made with scraps I found around the shop. I still have to fashion a shroud to go around the driven pulley.

This is the little bench that holds my disc sander. It will eventually evolve into a full fledged sharpening station. Wheel and disc storage underneath.

A shot of my workbench. Hasn't been this clean since we moved in here. I need to clean underneath. There's probably some way cool crap down there I don't even know about. On the floor on the right, you can see my little homemade downdraft sanding box. One of the handiest things I've ever made.

Here are the front/right and back/left shots of the little tool caddy I made. It's mostly made with scraps of wood that I found in the shop. I found one area of shelving that had a double layer of Plywood on the decks, so I harvested a few of those. It holds my most used tools, and rolls around nicely.

This is my router table, with some stock storage underneath. I hardly ever use it for anything, since I don't have a decent fence yet. I've clamped a board up, to run a few pieces here and there, but nothing fancy. I've also used it with pegs in the router plate to cut small circles.

I'd really like to find and refurbish an old bandsaw. That would help a lot for blank prep. No table saw either, but I don't do very much flatwork, and I'm getting pretty handy with my little cordless Ryobi1 Circular Saw.  Grin

Nice shop Mike.  Too clean for me though.  You need to get to work and have some fun in there!

Thanks, Walt! It isn't that clean anymore. I have documentation though, so that in a decade or two, when I get around to cleaning it again, I know what it's supposed to look like!  Cheesy

@Chuck,

Do your PVC Tubes have some sort of bottom, or are the handles just wedged in?

EDIT:

Ok, I see the stub of a dowel sticking out the side. Did you just bore a hole the same distance from the bottom of each tube, and run a long dowel all the way through? I love that idea. I think caps would hold the tubes apart, and take up quite a bit of space.

And they would cause the tube to fill up with chips.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Cool Cool

The reason I used a long dowel is what Jim said. This way the chips fall through onto the floor.
