Wow, I hadn't even considered a launching and a broken window.  I'll put up some plexiglass.  Thanks for the warning.

More work this weekend.  Waiting on the electrician now.

I'm set for glue/waste blocks for a LONG time.  The offcuts from the 2x6s are sweet!

We got the ceiling installed yesterday.  Looks pretty good, although I found out the room is just a bit out of square (isn't that always the case Angry).  Can't blame it on anyone but myself.  Maybe 1/4" at 8'.

Not that anyone would notice.  Kind of like the "obvious" errors that we see in our own turnings.

Painting the ceiling white will increase the light in your shop by providing a reflective surface.

Nice progress, for sure.

Love the idea of plywood for wall sheathing. I hate hanging things in drywall.  Tongue

Love your work area and the addition of the window just adds to it - natural light doesn't get any better than that!  smiley=thumbsup.gif

Just a suggestion on the window.I would either put a metal type grate over it,or use lexan, that stuff is costly, but IT DON'T break.  smiley=shake head.gif

Good days work yesterday, plywood is up.  The electricians ran the subpanel last week also.

Don't bother mudding the screws.  From my experience, spackle is designed to move at the same rate as wallboard, not plywood.  Chances are all but what is clogging the screwhead will fall off.  Just paint over the screws, it is a workshop.

i agree with Jim.  and in the event you ever have to remove a sheet, you will know where the screws are.
