It's home made lathe. 1,5 kW motor and three different speed.

OK, I got to find a calculator to change meters to standard. I forgot you were in Finland.  Grin

To rough figure, think of meters as yards, therefore 3 feet to the meter, 12'X15'.  For closer nuumbers, 3.25'/meter, 13'X16.75'.

Google does great unit conversions. Try Googling for things like "4 meters into feet" or "20 square meters into square feet". Or even "20 square meters into acres". (Which is 0.00494210763 acres, by the way.)

Ville, I just noticed that I was so busy telling Chuck how to convert nanofortnights into cubic parsecs, and I forgot to compliment you on your shop.  Smiley  Looks like a great place to play, and I like the looks of the vase you have on the lathe in the first photo.  smiley=thumbsup.gif
