Shop in progress
Oct 4th, 2010 at 11:37am

I'm quite excited about the shop that we are building.  It is one third of our metal out building and will house my lathe plus all of my husband's toys.  A truck will have to live in one half of the shop, but can be moved out when the extra space is needed.  It will have a heat pump that will provide both heat and AC.  The carpenter there is my Dear Hubby.  As you can see, his saws and such are all moved out but my lathe and bandsaw he has to work around.   Smiley Now if we can just get the drywall up and the place finished and organized!

I do feel like a kid at Christmas!  And we have lots of outlets and lots of lights.  We figured they are easier to put in now rather than later.  We may never need all of them, but they are there just in case... in case I should want a bigger lathe.  (grin) Grin  I'll post more pictures when we get the drywall hung.

Love it.  One suggestion if not too late, dry wall the ceiling and use 1/4-1/2" plywood for the walls.  Much easier to hang things on the way that way.
