it's not much, but is home.  21' wide by 22' deep.  I share with the furnace, water heater, and household storage.

my lathe:

Did you make the cabinets?  They look great!  Nice layout and use of he space that you've got.

Man, I thought I was tight but now I feel like I have all kinds of room. Great use of the space you have. A lot of thought must have gone into your lay out...Bill... smilies=bowdown

as all know, it is a work in progress.  i get my ideas from everywhere.  if it doesn't work, find what will.

yes, i made the cabinets.  i had a choice; buy particle board that will fall apart in time or build from plywood.  for me, a no brainier: build and have fun at the same time. smiley=thumbsup.gif

Dave,
Excellent use of space. Where do you keep your turning tools? in a drawer

Waited for the one sunshiny day out of the year to take the picture?  Nice shop, I'm in the same boat when it comes to shared space

the right bank of drawers under the lathe is for turning tools, except the big drawer and i keep my air nails in there.

center bank is for sandpaper disks, sheet sandpaper, and jig parts.

left bank is misc junk.

Great use of space.  Looks like what I had until I built a shop.  I really like the cabinet under the drill press.  Did you get the plans somewhere or is it your design?

my own design.  the cabinet originally had wheels and was for my small drill press.  now it is part of a experiment that did not work out, but i am to busy (or lazy) to change right now.  works though.

A very efficient use of space David!
I enjoy looking through this section as I get plenty of ideas to use or modify!
