It's a warm and sunny 30 degree day here but we're on day 2 of some 40 MPH winds and I have to go outside and locate all of out Nativity scene pieces... our plastic outdoor table and chairs were all blown into the woods yesterday so I suspect that Joseph, Mary, and little Baby J are there now too.

An 18 degree wind chill - below that is.  Temp is 4 above.  Had maybe 8" last night.  Went to the Amish neighbors a mile away for dinner and nearly had to take their horse and buggy home - those things go anywhere.  They still haven't plowed.  I turn in a basement.  When there's this much snow, I oftentimes get way too much shavings below me for comfort.  I need to tunnel a path to the woods whereupon I can dump said shavings, but that's a 125ft path - or buy lots of 50 gallon drums till the snow melts.   I do have to deal with the pile before it dries. That said, I love the weather.  My wife doesn't.  However a trip to the Cayman's for for a week of bonefishing with my 8wt sounds like fun...are there bones in Lanzarote?

Low to mid 20's here for a high, with way too much wind for my liking.  Just glad I don't have to turn outside and that I have a good heater when I do get the time to turn.

A long-time buddy of mine (Frank Jaxon) is a radio DJ for Eagle 106.5 in your neck of the woods. He's been camped out on a 25' x 25' platform in the Ranch and Home parking lot in Kennewick for the past 12 or 13 days doing a holiday toy drive for needy kids. It's been fun (and a bit painful) keeping up with his trials and tribulations over the past few days on Facebook.

We're in about the same boat as Jim...LA has had record-breaking heat the past couple of days, although it's supposed to drop down into the 50s by the end of the week.

Leo, you guys have qwertyuio down there? Man, them are some good eatin'.  smiley=thumbsup.gif   Cheesy

They don't put up as good of a fight as a good healthy oiuytrewq, though. It took me most of a day and into the evening to land this big boy:
