I too think you need some more selves...

Rev,
How many more selves do you plan on getting? Are you going to become like Sybil she had I think 13 selves.

Maybe he meant elves.  Either way I bet he could use more of all three - shelves, selves and elves.  Smiley

I have a book case that was in the old basement that will now  be used in the shop.  There are also several drawers that I screw to the walls to be sued as shelves.  Not to mention the standards and brackets that I'll put on the walls to make some more shelves.  One can never have enough shelves, selves, or elves to help out around the shop.

Well, not yet, Tom, but it is going to get there soon.  Got the son's chicken run built tonight even though nothing is in place.  Now tomorrow and Saturday are mine to continue the shifting and placing.  More pics to come.

I'm getting to the point where something has to get done.  I'm WAY behind on several things.

Finally was able to get some more work done in the shop tonight.  Family is gone to TN and I'm home alone.  Been another busy week but I've now started my weekend.  Got a good bit done and have a good picture in my mind of where I'm going with it all.  Will post some pics in the morning of what I did tonight.  Should be able to then post tomorrow evening what I get done tomorrow.  I'm getting excited about the possibilities of getting some blanks cut and some turnings spun round.  This process is taking way too long.

Great looking space.
Against all the common sense I do NOT like to face a door. The only time I actually ran my finger through a power tool was when I was facing a door and it opened, and I just 'glanced' up. That was just enough time for my router to grab the end of a finger. I now have my back to the door so I have to stop working to turn around and see who is there.

Today was a good day.  Organization has begun and we're starting to get close.  It won't be long now.
CoolRev. Doug Miller 1) Book shelf and drawers hung on wall for close at hand storage
2) Turning space defined
3) Not a good angle, but you can see most all the turning stuff in one area now
4) From behind the 1624.  The grinder will not stay where you see it.  Most likely will be on the bench at the base of the wall shelves behind where I'll turn.
