Whats with the hanging can? You know I always wanted to put a sign up in my shop saying. "Don't move a thing, it's right where I put it." smiley=thumbsup.gif

Today, after about 3 hours of moving and rearranging I have what you see below.

At this point I'm debating which side I'm going to set up as my shop.  The other side will be storage including yard, gardening, camping, and odds and ends.  If I do the shop on the left side I'll have the larger side but my back will be to the door unless I put the lathe parallel to the wall.  The right side gives me the opportunity to face the door and the lathe perpendicular to the wall.  Which would you choose?

Then I wouldn't have anything to turn either.  Just what I've collected over the last 6 years or so.

Looking good Rev!!

Personally I absolutely hate being surprised when running a power tool. Scares the bejeebers out of me & Safety 1st. I would take the option of being able to see the door if it's a man door. Aint much I can do about somebody outside hitting a garage door opener on me tho.

What you need are some shelves  Grin.  I, also, would face the door.  Hate being surprised.

Looks like you have made improvement!  Keep plugging away, you'll have that lathe turning soon.  If you don't want to face the door, hang a mirror on the wall.

Then you can go for 7 years of bad luck first time you have a IFO.  Course the other problem is that then you would always be looking at yourself.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Cool Cool

Rev,
How many more selves do you plan on getting?  Are you going to become like Sybil she had I think 13 selves.  Grin
