There are shops I've seen on this forum that are so clean not only can you eat off the floor..but perform open heart surgery without having to wash you hands..I stand in awe..but serously..there are spaces so well organized it puts me to shame..but I'm a captain Eddy type..always have been always will be...most happy when I have tools all over the place covered in dust..anyway thought I'd share a few...

Nice pictures. But I think mostly shops are not kept this much neat and tidy. These pics should become an  inspiration for those who don't keep their places clean and they should also learn from it how to keep a place groom.

Thomas,
Very nice well loved shop. I also love your shop helper.  smiley=beer.gif  If my shop was separate from the mechanical section. Gas water heater, oil boiler washer dryer. I would have mine like yours but I have to keep mine pretty clean. Although mine is well organized. It has to be cause I got so little room I would never be able to find anything.

It looks great and very well used. The pic of the lathe has one impressive pile of shavings!! I have the furnace and water heater in my shop though, so I have to keep it clean or SWMBO would have a say  Smiley

Joseph,
Why did you put a link to a web design company. what does this have to do with the shop thread?

Clean shop or messy shop does not matter, I think the secret is, as long as you are happy in your shop then your life is in perfect balance.

My wife often teases me about the cleanliness in my shop, has even accused me of being OCD.....lol.

I can say my cleanliness stems from being raised as an army brat, with a father who held white glove inspections of our bedrooms every Saturday morning before allowance was passed out.

I do like your shop setup, you seem to have good natural lighting, and a big garage door for plenty of ventilation. I also have several dogs who hang out with me when I am in the shop.

Thank you for sharing, seems every time I look at shop pics i see something I can incorporate in my shop to make my life easier.

That's why I love the shop photos, you get to see if you can incorporate anything into your shop to make life easier for you.
