WTB Some turning blanks

Hi folks,
I'm looking to buy some turning blanks.Both bowl and spindle.Species I'm really looking for are Osage orange(not the imported type),sycamore,pecan,apple,maple,and whatever else I might find interesting.I haven't been turning to awful long and want to try other woods besides cherry and walnut.If you have anything let me know what you got what you need for it.Thanks

I buy Osage spindle blanks from hut supply its not the import just good ol hedge apple!! Hope this helps!!

You can probably find some members that would exchange a Flat Rate box with you for one full of Walnut and/or Cherry.

I have some Osage orange but it has been dried for probably 12 years or more at this point I would think it is like turning a paving stone.  Smiley

Bois d'arc was used for street cobbles in many East Texas and Louisiana towns. My Wife's grandfather was very proud of a fence line that His Grandfather stretched when he got home from the Civil War they were the original bois d'arc posts and stretchers.

I have a bunch of Goncalo Alves squares (approx. 6x6x2), Longhi (8x2x2) all kiln dried, cut them from lumber but I will never get to them as I have too many blanks laying around. Trade?
