Well I finally got it working

To pin your location:

* Go into your User CP
* Click on the Profile tab
* Click on Location (you may have to log in)
* Select Location, Country, State and Map
* Hover over the map and you will see a cross hair
* Locate where you live and click on your mouse
* Don't forget to save

Next, go to your Options tab in the User CP and scroll down to the bottom of the page.
There you can choose to have your country's flag shown below your avatar.

To view Map
* Go to the Members tab
* On the far right side on the brown menu bar you will see this button Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register
* When you click on the button the map will show up.

In the Options tab in the User CP, down at the bottom of the page. You'll see two options, one for the flag and the other for the text.

The text box needs to be checked to show the location below your avatar.

Note:

I've noticed that same are placing their pin in North America as opposed to the USA. This is ok if this is what you want, but most of us in the states are placing our pin on the USA map.

I like having the location on the posts.  Helps us to know each other better and most helpful for newer members.

That's because Oz is a world of its own.

How do I move my pin? I've actually stuck myself way out in the west desert neer the bombing range. There are some who would say I belong there but I'd rather not.

I see you in the Member Section, in matter of fact, I see you have 2 registrations

Dale Jablonski
Dale J. Jablonski

Which one should I delete?

Next step would be for you to clear your cache to see if the member map comes up.

I just tried to move my pin closer to the coast of Maine where Ellsworth actually is instead of in the middle of the state and when I click the cross hairs on the coastal area, it throws the pin somewhere else like, Canada, or North Dakota.

Also I never knew Maine came after Mass. in terms of alphabetical order.  This map softeware is as buggy as my wood pile. Smiley
