My wife told someone the other day that she would like to have a garage to park the car in. She was told "what, you have a garage don't you? Yep we do, but this is what it is used for, turning shop and wood storage as well as parking my Little Yanmar tractor "toy"

Looks like you've got all the major "food groups" there.  Reasonably tidy and organized.  And what appears to be a table saw with bowls stacked on it.  Looks good to me!
Cars are designed to be outside.  Lathes and bandsaws are not.  Seems like a no-brainer.

Thanks John, the table saw has flat space that was just sitting there. I will show your comment on the garage and tools to my wife, that will swing the the vote in my favour. smiley=thumbsup.gif

Dirk, Looks like a well used & loved shop to me. I agree with John. Cars outside toys (tools) nice & warm inside.

Nice setup, I also use my garage as my shop. And keep all vehicles parked outside. My wife agrees its a fair trade off, its keeps the lathe out of the house, and she has a hard time listening to television with he dust collector going.
