Bread Board

What do you make a son whose a real gaming geek (even got his degree in video game design and worked in the industry for a while)?   A Space Invaders bread board.

It's 180 pieces of walnut and maple & measures 15 x 19.  Some of the glue joints aren't perfect and without a power planer or jointer every thing was done by hand (except cutting the blocks on the table saw.)   I even built a sled for the table saw to cut the blocks which I'll now be able to try some segmenting turning projects.  I got the idea from someone online who had been making them a few years ago.
