Most of my work includes open segments and I have designed and built a fixture for assembling the open segments. Is this something of interest to anyone?

There seems to be some interest so here's what I have. I've attached pictures of my current jig.( it is a bit of a cobble job). I'm starting to build another one that will be more professional looking. I started with a jig described in William Smith's "Segmented Wood Turning" Book which is a must read for open segmented turning. There were some things That I thought could be improved so I redesigned it but he deserves most of the credit for the original idea. If you look at the pictures I added a clamp to hold the piece against the bowl while the glue sets up. I use Titebond Molding and trim wood glue since it doesn't run and quick tack time. The little timer I use at 2 minutes and then move on to the next piece. The slide you see is to quickly set the diameter of the ring. The aluminum piece that the segment sits on needs to be at center heigth and level.The bottom shows the wood guide that centers the jig on the lathe. I am building another jig and I will draw up the plans as I go and attach them to a later message. You will have to give me a couple days. I should say that mine is built for my nova lathe with a 7.90" heigth to the bed. I am not in the business of selling these and will offer up my plans but if someone wanted one built I could do that. More to come when I get the plans drawn. When I tried to upload photos it didn't allow it so I' ll try in a seperate message.
