Nova Ornamental Turner-Want to buy
Dec 23rd, 2011 at 1:11pm

If anyone knows where I could pick up a Nova ornamental turner I would appreciate it. The are not making them anymore and I would be interested in picking one up at a decent price.

And you could check out the AAW Ornamental Turners virtual chapter at: Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register
They have their own forum you might investigate.

Yes I've been to those sites and have gotten some real good info from Jon Magill on his MDF ornamental turner. I would like to give the nova a shot first since I have a Nova lathe.

Have you called the service center in FL? Sometimes they have stuff that has come in for repair or a warranty and it was prudent to send the customer a new one and fix the bad one at their leisure. They may have even cannibalized some for parts and replaced the parts now. Either way, it would be worth a shot to call them. It's even a toll free call. Hard to go wrong.  1-866-748-3025

Thanks Rev. Doug. I did call them and they are very helpful. The serviceman is on vacation but said he would help me if he could when he gets back. I thought I'd ask the community to see if anyone would like to unload one. Someone may need the money for other things.
