Sycamore, anyone?
Feb 11th, 2012 at 12:59am

I'm having a rather large sycamore tree taken down in my back yard next week, and told the tree folks they will be leaving the wood here. Anyone in the LA area who wants to drive to the Antelope Valley, you're welcome to some of the wood. Tree is about 22" diameter, so there will be some good size turning pieces left. Some of it's already spoken for, but there's going to be a LOT of wood. Send me a PM if you want any, it's free!

If I wasn't 800 miles away, I'd be there. Sycamore is nice wood to turn. It also takes dyes very nicely., Wink
