New Turning Station

I wanted to show my new turning station that I have built. It seems to be working out good so far. Comment and questions welcome! Smiley

Neat design.  What are you storing in the space under the grinder?  I noticed the doors on the back.

Cabinet space is for anything related to sharpening. Grinder accessories, patterns, diamond slipstone etc. Drawers in front more for turning accessories, chucks and so on.  Smiley

Very nice Kenneth, after looking at your tool caddy my comments on me not being a flat worker certainly bear out. Your caddy looks very good and efficient. thumbsup

Very well done. More ideas for me to toss around. I have been considering combination tool rack and sharpening station for a long time. Having grinder high up so you can see is an excellent idea. I'd heard it before, but never put it together that it could and should be done on a cabinet.
I like that you took the time to put a finish on it, should help keep it cleaner. Working on that next.

That is cool Kenneth and it looks like it'll handle all your turning needs, I also "Love" that old pot belly stove in the second photo! thumbsup

Very well done. I like the lazy susan tool caddy.

I have revisited your tool caddy and I was wondering about the points up on the tools and the lazy susan, I was wondering about if you move the base could you loose the tools from the base. Anyway just a couple of thoughts. thumbsup thumbsup
