I call my shop my "Palace of Solitude" - if nothing else, it gets me away from in front of the TV and doing something physical - need it after sitting in front of a PC all day.

My shop has its own website.  Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register

That's a real link.  And the way It works when you click on it is just the way I wanted it setup.

Jack I think you posted the wrong pic. You said poor mans shop. The pic I see is am awesome shop. I would be proud to work in a shop that nice.

I read in another section of WTR forums about a free program called pixresizer that has really helped me with the pics I post.

The road to sucess is paved with good intentions, lined by numerous guard rails of excusses.

OK! I figured out the pic thing so here goes.
1st is my Excelsior Mini Lathe with the new SN2 chuck installed.
2nd is my grinding station with the new Wolverine.
3rd is my Skill drillpress and the machine that started this whole thing the Skill scroll saw.
4th is my Craftsman compound Mitre saw.
I built 4 benches to hold these things from mostly found lumber...to be continued.

5th is the Rockwell Bladerunner that I use to cut and size everything from pen blanks to circles. I've also used it to cut metal and ceramics.
6th is my most important station, my rest station. I have a muscular neuropathy and tire very easily, so I have to take recovery breaks often.
All this is packed in a one car garage.

All you need is a small fridge & ottoman to put your feet up & maybe a small table for your coffee or soda on.  thumbsup

Thanks everyone, I have plenty of space right now. When I titled this thread I was referring to the low end tools. Nothing here cost more than $200. Smiley

I really like the rocker!! My rest station is my father's old kitchen chair. No on e wanted it and I could not get rid of it so now that I am old I use it. Jack do you have a bowl of peanuts or something? That is the ultimate thinking station, Chair + peanuts thumbsup thumbsup
