Hi Jeff - Do you use your metal lathe for woodturning?

There's a Powermatic in there also.  That's a nice-looking engine lathe.

Mike, it's an old South Bend flat belt from a local high school.  A little abused, but it pretty much does what I ask of it.

Bill, the "arn" will be getting sold.  I'm into the wood lathe thing now and need more room for wood!

Tom, no wood turning on the metal lathe.  Not enough RPM, carriage in the way, etc.  I don't know how people do it.

Like it a lot. That old jointer looks like a monster! I can't see the motor, but I bet it's huge on a machine of that era, especially driving a blade that wide.

Don, I have come to the conclusion that he don't have a shop... he owns a "business!" I really like all of his old tools, you can tell a man who know his stuff from all of his tools and this feller knows his stuff!!! smiley=thumbsup.gif smiley=thumbsup.gif smiley=thumbsup.gif

Great shop Jeff.  In order to help you get more wood storage space, I'll just swing by and take the south bend off your hands.
