Winged Box Video - 84 minutes

Here is a full length video of a winged box demonstration I did for Gwinnett Woodworkers who filmed it and uploaded to YouTube. I credit Bob Hamilton for his videos that got me turning winged boxes.

Great job.  Your explanations were well done and very clear.  There was one thing that I found you left out though.  You never mentioned WR.  Bob Hamilton you mention.  But no WR.  We'll let you slide this time.  Wink  Thanks for sharing.

Nice piece of work --  I appreciate the opportunity to watch it all in one session.

I like the wide range of sub topics you covered related to the box, the shape, the techniques, and the refinement with critique!!!   Well done.

Any chance of getting a copy of the handout you referenced several times.

Very cool video. It covered everything to get the job done. I put the first coat of finish on one this afternoon. I think he stressed, watch out for the propeller, OH how I know what he meant by that. Nothing serious but it hurt.  bang head

Great tutorial.

I loved the first safety rule;  "Don't get blood on the wood.":

So basic a rule.  a good way to think about how you approach your high speed spinning wood.

And also you need to consider who's blood it might be.  Grin

Thanks for the video.  Fantastic.
