Donald...loose tenons. Much easier that way! The joints all have a dado or rabbet to support the joint in one direction, the tenon aligns it in the other direction. Good fit on the tenon thickness assures alignment, the width of the tenon not so important due to the dado/rabbet. Using epoxy any gaps in the width are filled with strength...not foam Wink

The "mortiser" is an old tool & cutter grinder. Handy for sharpening, but works pretty good for mortising too. I did have to make the end mill holders for it, and top speed is only 3500, but that is plenty fast in actual use.

The doors are oak plywood with black walnut edging that stands 1/8" proud of the door face. Just trying different things on the shop cabinets.

Took me a while, but have been doing a lot of bike riding. The top is 3/4" plywood with 1/4" hardboard glued on top. Oak edging screwed on so it's a little easier to replace. Now I got to finish those collet holders!
