Mail lady just delivered a very nice assortment of turning blanks.  Bowls pens and boxes from Kentucky.  Thanks Doug

Ouch all, I got back from West Virginia on Saturday and my wife told me there was a package in the shop and I forgot about it. Have not had time to even get out there, saw this and remembered the package and I owe Ted Moore a big thanks.

Dogwood I have never seen anything from that!
     Nice piece of Maple
     Black Walnut
     Sweet Gum WOW!
and A whole bunch of spalted stuff!

THANK YOU!

Hard to believe that it has only been just over a month since we hit 4500 members.  But I just checked and we've already had 103 new members sign on.  Folks, at this rate we could have another trade by the end of the summer.  This is just too cool!  GO WR!

Your very welcome. Just let me (us) see something made from some of that. The Sweet Gum turns great, as does the dogwood.
The Black Walnut will be a little on the dry side, it is a few years old. All of the spalted oak and maple is over 1 year old I believe.

Sounds like lots of folks have sent and received a lot of nice wood across this great country of ours.  I need to go through and check off both sides.  If you haven't sent or received a box, would you send me a PM and let me know what is going on?  If there is a problem we can most likely get it worked out without any problems.  I'm just wanting to make sure that everyone who has participated has been covered as expected.

I'm finally back from vacation and so is Cliff DeWitt, so I just got a box with 2 big pieces of beautiful Dunno wood.

Thanks Cliff, but do you know what they are?

I believe they are Hackberry, or possibly Ash but I do not know were the ash would have come from.  Glad you got them, I tripped over the box and Friday and realized that I had not sent it.    Undecided
