The New Shop
Dec 8th, 2012 at 7:40pm

Finally started putting the new shop together, it's a 1.25 car garage, so some nice space for a wood turning shop.  Built the frame for the work bench/chop saw station last weekend, need to rip and mill the wood for the top.  The grinder is there temporarily until I build my mobile sharpening station.  I did the french cleat wall system today, just need to build a bunch more shelves.  To the right of the garage door is my wood storage shelves.  Next big purchase will be a bandsaw.  More pics to come.

Nate what a great looking area for your man cave! Your incredible lathe actually looks to fit perfectly. I know you will be having fun along with the sweat it takes to develop a good woodturners shop. May the Lord bless your efforts. smiley=thumbsup.gif

Now I think I've seen pictures of that Nichols lathe of yours somewhere before, but I sure wouldn't mind seeing some more close ups!

Nice space you've got there!

John, I thought I had posted some pics of the lathe, but I can't find the post now.  I'll post some pics later in the tools forum
