Finally Pics of New Shop

It is not real big, 11'3" square, but compared to my back porch and the infamous "shop in box" it is great.  I am still messing with the layout to make it most efficient and I do have to keep some space for storage of odds and ends from around the Complex.
It is nice just turning things off and locking the door when finished and not have to put everything away as I used to have to do.

Looks pretty nice to me.  I think I see everything a turner needs in there...including a chair to ponder in!

Looks great Len.  I thought the landlord wanted a little space in there.  Did you trade him the "shop in a box" for space?

Nice!  Now you just need a table saw so you have a place to lay your turning tools, blanks, and accessories!

Looking good, Len!
I think I spotted that table saw Jon mentioned...hiding under the miter saw. I know you are already enjoying the "elbow room". Congratulations!

Looks good.  One suggestion, is to move the other workbench away from the right end of the lathe so you can get to it.

John, so true I do my best pondering while surrounded by unfinished turning projects.  What better place to ponder?

It feel like a ballroom compared to the porch.

Guy Bratt wrote on Jan 20th, 2013 at 2:49pm:

I am trying to give as little as possible.  Smiley  A lot of what he needs stored is up in the rafters.

JimQuarles wrote on Jan 20th, 2013 at 8:01pm:
move the other workbench

So true Jim.  In the plans just going to take two to do it the bench is real heavy.

Your right Gary.  I do need another chair for dual pondering.  With appropriate beverage when the power tools are shut down.

I am adjusting well to the new space but seem to be busy tweaking the space and have not yet really started any new turning projects as of yet.  Will soon do so.

Thanks to all for your support.  The move has been fun but needing to spin some wood.
