Lathe cabinet
Mar 21st, 2013 at 8:15pm

I started out with a cabinet with a shelf and a hinged door.  Shelves that low to the ground really didn't work too good for me.  Hard to reach, and only the stuff in front is readily accessible.  Then somebody posted a drawer type cabinet I liked...sorry can't remember who, but it looked pretty nice. Kathy?...was it you?  So, kept the original "ballast box", but the original cabinet was scrapped out and replaced with this.  18" deep drawers...should work MUCH better!    I think the photos "blow up" when clicked on.

Very nice cabs.  They look great nestled in the wicked looking lathe.

Cadillac all around!  Nice lathe and cabinet.  I like the flush drawer fronts and nice drawer slides.  Well done!  Now, get turning again Smiley

Great job that is like everything you make excellant. Jeff I am glad I waited on an under my PM cabinet because after turning in my little cold room for a few monthes I really like the idea of drawers instead of a cabinet. I have a cabinet on wheels in there and drawers will be much better because of the curlies, woodchips, and saw dust. smiley=thumbsup.gif

Thanks to everyone.

Ed   smiley=shake head.gif  I did a MAJOR clean-up before varnishing the cabinet....what you see is also the "finishing room"!
